Homemade Fries

Share it Please
I looovvvvveeeeeee fries. Steak 'n' Shake's fries are to die for. So are McDonald's. But I prefer Steak 'n' Shake. Always have always will.

The only problem with their fries is that they cook them in the same oil they cook stuff with gluten. :( So no more fries for me.

But, fortunately, you can make them at home. And they're just as delicious. Crispy golden fries hot from the oven. Doesn't that just make you smile? Dipped in ketchup or BBQ or just eaten plain. On the side with a thick, juicy burger and pickles. Oh, my mouth is watering.

6 medium potatoes
2-3 T. olive oil
salt to taste

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
2. Rinse and peel potatoes if the skins are tough.
3. Cut into wedges.
4. Toss in a bowl with olive oil.
5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread potatoes evenly on the baking sheet.
6. Sprinkle with salt.
7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until desired crispiness.
