I'm so sorry I haven't posted in a few days. With the school play, church, sleepovers, and everything else going on I just didn't have time. Plus I have to finish To Kill A Mockingbird by Friday. And I'm about six chapters behind. Hopefully, I'll still have time to do some baking. I miss being in the kitchen! My schedule probably won't free up until next week, though. That's when I'll tackle my baking list.
You all probably know that I was in my school's production of Snow White this past Friday and Saturday. Well- it turned out great! Everyone loved it! We only had a few mishaps (people not showing up on stage, props nearly knocked over, actors not speaking clearly, etc.), but, overall, it was a hit! After all the complaining I did about going to practices every Thursday over the past 3 months it was sure worth it. In fact, I'm planning on auditioning for the spring play. ;)
Another thing I'm looking forward to this week is Christmas shopping. I haven't gotten anything done yet, so this Friday, my whole family is taking the afternoon off to go shopping. I've got a whole list of things to buy for people and cash burning a hole in my pocket, so I'm all set! I love to Christmas shop. Or, maybe I just love shopping. ;) Anyways, this means I get to miss school Friday afternoon! Yay! :)
This is my incredibly short post. Hope you all have a great week and a great Christmas! For those of you who are taking finals either this week or next, good luck! And if it's any consolation, I'll be taking them, too. >:(
Inquiry of the Day:
Do you enjoy Christmas shopping? Have you gotten any of it done yet?
To those of you who have, good job! To those of you who haven't, well- I guess we're in the same boat. ;)
Now, since this a food blog, I'll leave a link to one of my favorite recipes:
Cinnamon Donuts!

Glad the play went well - I had a feeling it would =)
ReplyDeleteThat sounds pretty fun to go shopping with the family Friday - what a good way to get into the holiday spirit.
I have actually finished most of my shopping. I was just going to try and finish today. I like getting it done early, I'm usually done well by now.
Have fun Friday!
Lucky for you! Normally, I don't finish my shopping until the day before Christmas Eve. :\ It's bad, I know, but I never have anytime do it before then. Thanks for commenting! Happy holidays!
